Ol' Hallows Eve

Happy Halloween! I know we still have a bit of time left, but all I have on my head is spooky good fun. I ♥ Halloween but can no longer stand receiving food or candy as a party gift. Why not spice it up?

I love anything that smells like food that you can wear. I love getting items that last awhile and remind me of Autumn like Sephora's trick-or-treat shampoo in Pumpkin and Carmel.

I love receiving invites, although since moving I have not really made much acquaintances in our neighborhood (even though we've no been here for 2 years) oops! So, why not send an invite to meet a great new faces at Hicks Paper Goods for creepy and fun patterns and designs!

Okay, when in doubt, grab yourself and the munchkins a classic DVD such as The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

I couldn't resist a yummy, you have to have some treats on Halloween! Stop by The Sweet Tooth Fairy to help satisfy your appetite. Isn't this cake precious!

Autumn ♥

Oh, how the leaves turn! I just love the foliage and the warm crisp colors. I just always dream of the chilled air, a warm fireplace, and a cozy blanky.

I found these adorable place cards at Little Retreats. I just love the creativity with the paper and design.

These cookies from Sugar & Flour. Have such detail and are perfect for Autumn and Thanksgiving!

And I just couldn't resist these notepads from Crown Bindery. These would be great as a favor for guests at party or dinner. A great way to hold lists, notes, or tid-bits while out and about!

I still can't believe its almost Halloween. I will need to post a picture of the costume I purchased for Miss P! I'm so excited, we will be the cats meow!

Spooky Inspiration!

I LOVE Halloween! I'm just so disappointed our family will not be decorating this year. We have such a hectic schedule and a 2 year old that would destroy it all! Next year we will have so much fun getting the house ready for spookiness! In the mean time, here are some great ideas for family time crafts.

I love the idea of just letting your imagination take over, we always see the same ol' same ol' every year, why not try something more creative! This drip paint pumpkin sounds so fun! check it out at Kathy Cano-Murillo's blog, The Crafty Chica

Okay, these are cute! I love browsing Yahoo's images, you can find all sorts of ideas. How about some paper bag luminaries. You could stamp in image and cut out parts, color, or paint an image on. The possibilities are endless.

Amy at Living Locurto has such fun stuff! These are free printable cup sleeves, so cool! And sassy! ;)

For anyone that's a tru blood fanatic will go crazy for these! The HBO shop here carries six pack's for a reasonable price. This would be fun for a party!

Nothing says Halloween to me more than carved pumpkins! If your more into a traditional look, Martha Stewart's site, here amazing pumpkin carving designs that anyone would enjoy.
