Bake Sale! {The Great American Bake Sale!}

Who doesn't feel charitable when it comes to contributing towards a bake sale? I've been really looking for a challenge when it comes to community work this year. I'm getting started on my BS/P, raising a fiesty toddler, and feeling reverential towards others. So, I'm looking into getting the scoop on using a park, my local Mom's Club, or possible a garage sale to make this happen. I also stopped by Bakerella to get a recipe and instructions for the cowgirl/boy cookie mixes and Bake it Pretty for mini loaf pans (to make pumpkin bread). Projects are so fun and rewarding, so I'm hoping by June I can get the ball rolling!

Victorian Garden Party {Phoenix Event Planning}

BP Man was just asking me today if I'm getting excited for Miss P's pending party 2 months away. I acknowledged him with a simple "m-hm" knowing I still have some items to finish and plan. Seeing a similar style garden party by Rachel Lewis of Phoenix Event Planning sure does give me grat inspiration! I just love her style here! Her daughter turned 3 to a Victorian style party in the garden. I'm smitten by her detail--just look at the whicker and silver era accents disbursed throughout in a floral and whimsy feel.

County Fair Birthday!

I'm going ga-ga for this celebration at Aesthetic. Such a vibrant and fun theme for any 4 year old!

Take a gander at Anneliese's blog, here or here  for a tutorial on the bandana table cloth, finds, and recipe for the delicious bundt cake she made {from Martha Stewart}.

A Birthday in the Park! {Jack & Izzy}

I love all the boy parties exploding this Spring--especially when one comes from one of my favorite blogs to read. Sarah the creator of Jack & Izzy posted her son's 3rd Birthday party and I'm in love with the park colors of blue, red, grey, and white. Sarah makes it easy to construct your own homemade party with these simple banners displayed for the dessert table!

I can not get enough of how adorable and super-yummy these colossal marshmellow pops and cupcakes look! Sarah kindly describes how she assembled the marshellow's that anyone could DIY.

For more details, pictures, and more to come, stop by Jack & Izzy for sweet ideas and lots of eye candy! ;)

Graduation Party!

I love Robin of Gaddie & Tood
amazing paper products ranging from hats to tags.
She recently posted pictures from her daughter's graduation party and boy does she deliver simple yet sweet ideas! I'm loving the blue and red theme with a touch of personal picture picks on sandwhiches!

How about these party favors for her friends--name banners! Great for any girl to hang in her dorm at her desk or even over her bed. Robin's creativity shows through all her handmade décor and attention to detail through images of her daughter to the food table!

My wish list

So my Birthday is this friday, and I'll be in Texas on a vacation we planned two months ago. I was told I'd be taken to a lovely Brazillian dinner as my "treat" on my special day. With how much we put into our travels and Miss P's impending birthday party in August, seems I can only "look" at any items I'm hoping to recieve.
Darn.
When life hands you lemons, you save for...
A Nikkon D3000 DSLR

Adobe Photoshop CS5

I'm very impatient, so this "saving" that'll last up to Christmas is not going to be easy. So much for me treating myself on my birthday. We are not off to a good start this week.

My heart goes out to our soldiers, the men and women in our country the contribute their time and lives to protect and serve others. Their sacrifice affects more than their family--their families indure long periods without them. Amy of Stem parties brought me to tears, seriously. Operation Shower and other volunteers provide services to military Moma's deserving our appreciation and gratitude. Thank you :) for being so humble and giving to other's that require the countries help and mean you must sacrafice your significant other and manage loads on your own. We salute you!

Orange Kite Party!

The bright pop of orange and sweet kite designs!
I just can't get enough of this creative birthday on
The creativity in this party--such as pinwheels that pop in color, orange balloons, to whimsical invitations and treat bags. It's refreshing to see how a color and kite's a child enjoys can be tranformed to a fun party for a 3 year old!
