Who doesn't feel charitable when it comes to contributing towards a bake sale? I've been really looking for a challenge when it comes to community work this year. I'm getting started on my BS/P, raising a fiesty toddler, and feeling reverential towards others. So, I'm looking into getting the scoop on using a park, my local Mom's Club, or possible a garage sale to make this happen. I also stopped by Bakerella to get a recipe and instructions for the cowgirl/boy cookie mixes and Bake it Pretty for mini loaf pans (to make pumpkin bread). Projects are so fun and rewarding, so I'm hoping by June I can get the ball rolling!
BP Man was just asking me today if I'm getting excited for Miss P's pending party 2 months away. I acknowledged him with a simple "m-hm" knowing I still have some items to finish and plan. Seeing a similar style garden party by Rachel Lewis of Phoenix Event Planning sure does give me grat inspiration! I just love her style here! Her daughter turned 3 to a Victorian style party in the garden. I'm smitten by her detail--just look at the whicker and silver era accents disbursed throughout in a floral and whimsy feel.
Especially one as cool and out-of-the-park as Five Lucky Charms! Thanks Jessica for sharing--not only do you amaze me with your ideas and details but fab parties others share with you!
Take a gander at Anneliese's blog, here or here for a tutorial on the bandana table cloth, finds, and recipe for the delicious bundt cake she made {from Martha Stewart}.
I love all the boy parties exploding this Spring--especially when one comes from one of my favorite blogs to read. Sarah the creator of Jack & Izzyposted her son's 3rd Birthday party and I'm in love with the park colors of blue, red, grey, and white. Sarah makes it easy to construct your own homemade party with these simple banners displayed for the dessert table!
I can not get enough of how adorable and super-yummy these colossal marshmellow pops and cupcakes look! Sarah kindly describes how she assembled the marshellow's that anyone could DIY.
For more details, pictures, and more to come, stop by Jack & Izzy for sweet ideas and lots of eye candy! ;)
I'm a moma to a beautiful chickadee and full time student. Just taking in life's daily pleasures by fellow mom's, art, parties, children, and the joy's of family through photography!
